Course Description

Artificial intelligence is rapidly shaping the way Americans work, learn, and interact with information, but its effects are not experienced equally across communities. In this discussion-based course, participants explore current news stories and real-world examples each week to examine how AI is influencing education, employment, media, and everyday life in the United States. Through guided conversation and occasional short participant presentations, this non-credit class considers questions of opportunity, bias, and inequality in the growing age of artificial intelligence. No pre-requisite required.
