​​​​​​This hands-on workshop introduces middle school students to the exciting world of LEGO robotics. Through engaging design and coding challenges, students will build, program, and test their own LEGO Spike Prime creations while learning foundational programming, engineering concepts, and creative problem-solving strategies. Working in pairs, students will use block-based coding to bring their robots to life, developing logic, algorithmic thinking, and resilience. The course culminates in a student-driven showcase project that demonstrates their unique solutions to real-world-style challenges. This class welcomes students at any middle school level.

In this course, students use the principles of design thinking to create a unique and functional theme park concept. They tackle real-world problems in layout, budgeting, safety, and guest experience, developing creative and logical solutions along the way. To bring their visions to life, students craft persuasive and descriptive marketing materials and present their final park designs. This collaborative, high-imagination experience blends creativity, problem-solving, and big-picture thinking. This class welcomes students at any middle school level.
