Course Description

Illinois students are now preparing for the ACT. Get ready to achieve your best score on the ACT! Engage in practice tests and cover the four topic areas of Reading, Mathematics, English, and Science. Practice algebra, geometry, advanced algebra, and basic mathematical refreshers to polish your math skills. Discover helpful ways to remember grammatical rules and effective strategies to help you approach reading passages and questions confidently.

Be prepared for the upcoming 2026 ACT test dates of July 11, September 19, October 17, and December 12.

Students should bring to each class the required textbook: ACT Premium Prep, 2024: 8 Practice Tests + Content Review + Strategies (2024) by The Princeton Review, Copyright 2023, ISBN 978-0593516669 along with paper, a pencil, pen, and highlighter. The textbook can be purchased online.
