Course Description

With the recent ISBE contract change from SAT to ACT, Illinois students will now be preparing for the ACT. Get ready to achieve your best score on the ACT! Engage in practice tests and cover the four topic areas of Reading, Mathematics, English and Science. Practice algebra, geometry, advanced algebra and basic mathematical refreshers to polish your math skills. Discover helpful ways to remember grammatical rules and effective strategies to help you approach reading passages and questions confidently. Be prepared for the upcoming 2025 ACT test dates of September 6, October 18, and December 13.

Students should bring to each class the required textbook, Princeton Review ACT Premium Prep, 2025: 8 Practice Tests + Content Review, Plus Info & Practice for the New Enhanced ACT (2025) (ISBN: 9780593517901), as well as paper, a pencil, pen and highlighter. The textbook can be purchased online.
