Earning or maintaining your Food Manager Certification is an important job qualification in the food service industry. This course will prepare you to be certified or re-certified through the National Restaurant Association - ServSafe Foundation. The nationally recognized ServSafe Exam is given as part of this course. Upon successful completion of the ServSafe Exam, you will receive a copy of your ServSafe Food Protection Manager certificate. Note: As of January 1, 2018, the Illinois Department of Public Health will no longer require a state FSSMC certificate. The course is taught in English, but students may request to test in another language with advance notice.
