This strategic series provides an in-depth introduction to TILT, Transparency in Learning and Teaching. In this 3-part professional learning experience, you'll learn about what the TILT framework is and how it came to be, look at examples of assignments that have been "TILTed," and redesign an assessment of your own.

For this section of the series, you will watch a lecture on the TILT approach from Mary-Ann Winkelmes, the creator and main researcher. She discusses the inequity in higher education and how this approach helps students be more successful in their courses and feel included in the academic community.  In addition to the rationale for this approach, she also shares her research findings.
