Course Description

Course Description: This course will provide students and professionals with the knowledge and skills to effectively administer score and interpret evidence-based tools to help guide clinical practice. This course will cover a a variety of tools including the Mental Status Exam (MSE) Alcohol Use Disorder Identification Test (AUDIT-10) Drug Abuse Screening Test (DAST-10) Patient Health Questionnaire 9 (PHQ-9) Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7 (GAD-7) and Outcome/Session Rating Scale (ORS/SRS) to gather information about presenting concern(s) mental health symptoms substance use history efficacy of treatment and other areas impacting clients' quality of life.
