Course Description

This class is an introduction to ancient Kalamkari Art. Learn history and technique, evolution, decline and revival as well as showcasing samples
of Kalamkari pieces of fabrics and tools. Participants will experience a  video/documentary  taken during a trip to the artisans in
India while sharing the different styles of Kalamkari. Doing a couple of Kalamkari paintings on canvas using acrylic
paints( focusing only on the motif)
