Course Description

Symbolism which appeared in the middle of the 19th century was less of an artistic movement than a state of mind. Symbolism could be expressed as a poetic painting of an individual's thoughts and impressions of the world today or express dreams or experiences that are very impressionistic or poignant. Work out your ideas for an effective symbolistic composition making choices for your color palette and design elements focusing on symbolism. Create a sentimental painting of your choice in watercolors or acrylics. Course fee includes all materials.
