Course Description
IN-PERSON OR VIRTUAL LIVE CLASSROOMThis 60 hour course is designed to meet the Illinois pre-license education requirements for obtaining an Illinois Real Estate Broker license. You are required to attend all sessions which include: introduction to the license law and real property; basics of agency seller and buyer relationships and counseling; local state and federal laws effecting real estate; brokerage marketing and advertising; market analysis and appraisal; financing contracts independent contractor and employee status occupational disciplines and business planning. A textbook is required and may be purchased in the CLC bookstore prior to class.
ON-LINE ANYTIME CLASS
This Internet-based class is offered as an option for completing the 60 hours of the broker pre-licensing curriculum without having to attend any class meetings. Students will work independently online with access to the course Internet learning portal 24 hours a day. The instructor is available M-F through email phone or by text. Students are encouraged to attend the zoom course Orientation session on the first evening of the class. If a student cannot attend then they will need to contact the instructor and will be provided a recording. The Orientation session will be done by an email from the instructor to the students with a zoom invitation and link. Students will also take their final exam on the last class session by zoom teleconference.
A textbook is required and may be purchased in the CLC Bookstore prior to class.
