Are you a cat or dog lover? By taking the Pet Care 1 course you will learn how your ability in caring for animals can turn into a successful career. Gain a better understanding of pet health development and nutritional needs. Learn training techniques to promote good behavior and obedience and learn fun activities that you can enjoy with pets. Also discover the great number of job opportunities that exist in the pet care industry. This class is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment in pet care. Some of the jobs that students might consider upon completion include: dog bather/groomer assistant dog walker pet sitter or employment at a pet store or animal shelter.
