CFSP 73 - Narrative Writing (Grades 6-8)
Course Description
Come tell your stories in this narrative writing course. Hone your skills as we delve into personal narratives fictional short stories point of view story structure drafting editing and revising. Enjoy mini lessons centering on the writer's craft such as figurative language incorporating dialogue and sentence structure. Use your electronic device such as a tablet or laptop or choose to write your stories with paper and pencil.Notes:
This course is offered only for sixth seventh and eighth grade students who have qualified for the Fast-Paced Gifted Program.
Students: Bring paper a pen or pencil to take notes and a highlighter. Bring your own device (tablet Chromebook or laptop) with Wi-Fi capabilities and Word or Doc writing app or program. When not being used specifically for class-related activities all devices must be silenced turned off and put away. (See Code of Conduct).
