Course Description

Students will broaden their creative verbal skills as they engage with Greek and Latin stems in analogies, classic literature passages, reading, writing and questioning exercises and idea categories such as synthesis, divergence,
analysis, evaluation, intuition, emotion and aesthetics. Course fee includes all materials and the textbook The Word Within the Word by Michael Clay Thompson (Royal Fireworks Press).
Typically Offered: Offered summer, fall & spring.

The course is offered only for sixth, seventh and eighth grade students who have qualified for the Fast-Paced Gifted Program.
