Course Description

This session will focus on the self-level of change management and how to manage transitions from the inside out. Learn to recognize your feelings toward change and how to navigate through the transition process that accompanies change. Using LancerNEXT as the premise for discussion, you will be introduced to our change management model ADKAR and how it integrates into the already existing college success framework phases of Link, Launch, Learn and Leap. Come join in an engaging session where you will walk away with a personal action plan and strategies for implementing change. 

Learner Outcomes

  • Articulate the difference between change and transition as it relates to LancerNEXT
  • Lead yourself through change with LancerNEXT by managing your personal reactions to change
  • Implement two to three strategies for managing your transition in LancerNEXT

Notes

  • This session serves as a pre-requisite to Change and Transition for Leaders (to be delivered on 6/4/2024-Leadership Council)
  • This course requires a minimum of fifteen (15) participants registered to run the section. If the minimum is not met and the section is canceled, you will be notified via email.
  • Please note: Sections 004-007 are intended for Leaders in the units of Information Technology, Strategic Advancement, Business Services and Finance, Student Development and the President's Office
