Launch your new career in real estate with our state-approved pre-licensing courses. These classes are designed to:
- Prepare you to successfully complete the Illinois real estate licensing exam

- Support you in finding a Managing Broker to supervise your first two years in the field
Our courses are taught by experienced, licensed brokers who make complex concepts easy to understand, share real-world insights and guide you toward success in your new profession. Classes meet online via Zoom for your convenience.
Course prerequisites and special notes
Both PRLE 2 and PRLE 3 are required to meet the pre-licensing requirements established by the State of Illinois. Together, these courses fulfill the 75-hour education requirement. Once you successfully pass both courses, you will be eligible to sit for the State licensing exam offered by Applied Measurement Professionals (AMP).

Note: Students are generally required to take PRLE 2 before PRLE 3.
Prior to receiving an Illinois Real Estate license, students must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have graduated from high school or obtained an equivalent degree
- Have completed the required real estate education hours at an approved school
- Pass a state license examination
