Course Description

Get a behind the scenes look at the glassblowing studio receive a demonstration of a blown art piece then make three separate sculptural art glass pieces. Each piece will have a different feature as well as technique. Pick your own colors! Pieces need to cool and can be picked up after three days. Class time may vary depending on the number of students. Students ages 14-17 are eligible to take glassblowing classes with a registered adult. Parents of students under age 18 must sign a waiver with Patterson Glassworks.

Class is held at Peter Patterson Glassworks, 888 Tower Road, Suite E, Mundelein, 60060. Proper attire is mandatory: long-sleeved cotton shirt, long pants, socks, closed-toed shoe, and a pair of sunglasses. Class time may vary depending on the number of students. Course fee covers all materials. This Family Friendly class for adults is also open to students ages 14-17 who enroll and attend with a registered parent. A 48 HOUR CANCELATION NOTICE IS REQUIRED!
