Course Description

Learn these quilting basics in a fun, introductory class: quilt terminology, fabric selection, color coordination, fabric tearing (grain straightening), log cabin squares, quilt seam allowances, log cabin patterns, batting and backing, tie through and stitch-in-the-ditch. Make a nine-square baby quilt or wall hanging (approximately 47" x 47") as your final project. Bring your own sewing machine to the first class. Supplies will be discussed at the first class and a supply list will be provided.
