This course is designed for both chairs and members of Staff Search Committees.
This course covers the key information and the processes you will need to participate on a Staff Search Committee.
This course is online on demand on CANVAS. It takes approx 2.5 hours to complete.
The course covers an introduction to CLC, Diversity and Bias in hiring, CLC's hiring process, Search Committee Roles and Responsibilities, Reviewing job applications and avoiding bias in the applicant selection process preparing interview questions and conducting the interview. A downloadable interview preparation workbook and forms are included in the course.

Start at Unit 1 and work through the course, completing one unit at a time.
This course is required for anyone who chairing a Staff Search Committee or is a member of a Staff Search Committee.
