Course Description

The course focuses on ancient civilizations founded in Mesopotamian their rise history religion culture life and decline. The students will analyze the earliest civilizations globally and how their contributions such as irrigation social class and organized religion influenced our modern world. Students will understand the religious practices and their effect on social order. They will find the roots of several spiritual practices in the ancient world. The culture of the Mesopotamians and its use in their daily lives is an eye-opening practice that connects the ancient world to our modern time.
